L'orto dell'Hotel Milano Scala

In advance to Expo 2015, the world exhibition on ethical and sustainable supply, and 240 years after opening the famous Orto Botanico di Brera, Hotel Milano Scala has set up on the roof of the building with view on the spires of the cathedral, a space that agricultural Chef can provide with the daily harvest of produce, herbs and fruits.
It is an axperience that, from the end of May, will be shared with the guests of the hotel.
Diego Improta is the Food & Beverage manager. The elegant restaurant kitchen is headed by Chef Fabio Castiglioni, a young native of Varese.
In the kitchen the hotel makes use of products that come from the inter-territory, particularly from the farms of the near Ticino Park.
