The Museo del Gioiello opens in Vicenza. It is the first time in Italy. The charming location, in the Palladian Basilica, a building dated sixteenth century, makes it even more enchanting. Nine exhibition halls accommodate 400 jewels of different ages and cultures. It is possible to visit Etruscan jewelry, neoclassical and luxurious contemporary jewelry. "The museum is a project that rewards goldsmith’s art and jewellery. It is  a concrete example of the well-made and Italian excellence in the world," says Matteo Marzotto, Fiera Vicenza President, the company that manages the project together with the town of Vicenza.
