Postcards from Italy

Postcards from Italy

Asolo, rolling green hills grace the horizon of an enchanted landscape. Blossoming fruit trees harmoniously line the edge of a quiet and sunny road. The faint sound of a car can be heard, driving confidently into the future. The young lady in the elegant white spider smiles slightly. Could she be Austrian or Anglo-Saxon or perhaps American?
Volterra, the historic Etruscan village which has been perfectly preserved on a hilltop in Pisa. Widespread golden harvested fields, the scent of wheat, the chirping of crickets and cicadas, pink splotches of isolated and delicate poppies dot the horizon of this peaceful oasis. The sensual wayfarer, enchanted, ponders the beauty of the place and savours its vastness and silence. The dots on her dress go well with the jewellery she is wearing: gold plated silver poppies with zirconium, enamel and black onyx. Collars, bracelets, earrings and pendants enhance the ensemble, bringing precious fun to the summer.
Pienza, a small village in Siena, one of the most famous in the valley for its architectural and environmental treasures.
She looks like a goddess as, in the soft movement of the fabric she wears, she admires the "ideal city", as it was defined by the Renaissance period because it was the first example of pacific civil and industrious cohabitation of mankind. She is wearing a necklace and a gold plated silver bracelet with white zirconium sunflowers, a pink opal and smoky quartz. She smiles at her youth and beauty, illuminated by Brazilian agate and cherry quartz pendants and bracelets.
Positano, from the historic Tuscan hills to the unmistakable descent to the sea of Positano, a beach area well known even as early as ancient Roman times. The cobalt blue of the sky and sea are contrasted against the white beach and the houses.
Gold plated silver crabs, enamel and baroque freshwater pearls dominate blue enamelled coral and resin and gold plated silver jewellery in a dynamic and glamorous ensemble.
Gallipoli, Pearl of the Ionian-sea, destination for classy tourism attracted by its charm and natural wealth. This is where she pauses, with an ironic gaze and an amused air, adorned with shrimp, coral and starfish.   The white agate, the green agate and the freshwater pearls play against the gold plated silver with the red enamel and zirconium, creating jewellery sets with dynamic shapes which ooze with the flavour of salt.
Taormina, the merry tourist concludes her Italian tour in the region of Sicily. The curious and delighted wayfarer stores up memories of her tour by giving herself a gift of white agate with tortoise silver clasps and jewellery sets with small enamel tortoises. It's time to go. Her suitcase is filled to the brim with sensations, scents, flavours, visions. Postcards from Italy, the Belpaese that welcomes all and never betrays.
