Eyewear is centre stage

Italia Independent has commissioned Independent Ideas, the Group’s creative agency, and Pierpaolo Ferrari to create the advertising campaign for the S/S 2016 eyewear collection.
This year, the concept of the campaign incorporates iconic and glossy fashion covers as the context in which to highlight the season’s eyewear.
The covers feature full-size portraits with the aim of creating an image in which the eyewear is centre stage. The close-up facial shots become an essential element for communicating the product. The models look directly at the camera lens so that the eyewear is central on the face and immediately captures the reader’s interest. 
For I•I EYEWEAR, the young and technologically-advanced family of the Brand, the main themes continue to be the patterns; created by high resolution digital printing, characterised by bright colours and geometric shapes which are inspired by India. The creative concept includes faces painted on canvas that are then elaborated. The textures on the eyewear are spread across the image creating an eye-catching, colourful effect.
